How to Measure Wheel Backspacing

Wheel fitment i.e.: Wheel diameter, wheel width, and wheel backspacing are very important on every build. You need to be able to measure accurately to insure that you don’t end up with wheel clearance issues. This is even more critical on the early model (62-67) Chevy II/Novas. One critical aspect of measuring wheels is backspacing.  Incorrect backspacing will lead to your wheel/tire combo possibly hitting suspension components, the frame, or the fender. Classic Nova & Performance wants to make sure you know how to measure backspacing correctly. The following video gives you the knowledge to measure backspacing, and some things to watch out for.
