Classic Nova & Performance’s Crossroads 1965 Nova
We will be starting a series of pictures as we begin work on the Classic Nova & Performance 1965 Chevy II/Nova that we have dubbed the Crossroads 65 Nova. We’ve owned the Chevy II since 1998. During that time it has gone through a couple of transformations. The most recent version featured modified stock suspension, a 400 SBC backed by TH350 with a shift kit, and a 10-bolt posi rear end. It rolled on 235/60/15’s out back, and //15’s upfront, with disc/drum brakes, and a tandem master cylinder. The Crossroads transformation will bring the Chevy II into the modern era. We have been a dealer for Detroit Speed & Engineering for over a decade. Over the past decade we have sold and installed DSE products on a number of our customer’s cars. When we decided the 65 Chevy II needed updated, it didn’t take long to decide on what suspension we were going to use. The Crossroads Nova will be fitted with DSE suspension front and rear, along with a set of DSE mini-tubs. To kick this build series off we’re giving you a look at the DSE front frame we will be using. Keep watching for project updates.
